Saltburn-By-The-Sea

We visited Saltburn-by-the-Sea after I stumbled across a picture of the Saltburn Cliff Lift ('a historic funicular railway system') on AtlasObscura.com. Which, by the way, is an incredibly useful website if you're looking to find weird places to photograph. When we got there I ended up being so distracted by all the other things going on that I didn't actually even look at the cliff lift.

An absolutely typical British seaside town. It was drizzling and grey but it wasn't bothering anybody. Whole families were camped outside their beach huts having picnics and cups of tea.

Rotterdam, 2016

I began shooting film with an Olympus OM10 and after solely using medium format for a while I've started using 35mm a little more, just for everyday stuff, to have some form of camera on me at all times. It got me looking back through some older stuff and I'd forgotten how much I like my photos from our last trip to Rotterdam. It feels like this was a good 2 or 3 years ago but it was actually only last summer.

I love Rotterdam. We've been a few times now, the first being on our honeymoon and it was honestly the best holiday of my life. If I were to ever move to another city, it would be here.

I try to keep only medium format work on my portfolio, so I thought I'd share these here.
