Otterburn Hall hotel closed suddenly in 2012 and has been pretty much left alone ever since. I've been here a few times as the grounds are one of my favourite places ever. Beautiful woodland with forgotten tennis courts and outbuildings. We walk the dog here a lot and now and then you stumble upon a deer, which Pim absolutely loves. This time it was snowing and the lake was completely frozen over.
